Welcome to the Texas Good Sam website. We are chapters in Texas that camp, eat and rally together. We hope that you can find the answers to your questions on our site, however, you can always reach out to our State Director or any State Staff for information.
We have chapters throughout the state of Texas. You can camp, eat or rally with any chapter without being a Good Sam Member. Each chapter plans their own activities, campouts, etc., at various times and places. Some are groups of retired military, some golf, some travel outside of Texas, some play games and enjoy puzzles. The choices are wide, and you may visit as many chapters as you like to see where you want to belong. You may join as many chapters as you like and feel comfortable joining. Becoming a chapter member is a good way to connect with other campers that share the same interests. This becomes more than just camping friends, they become FAMILY.
We also have a State Rally in April each year and Mini Rallies in March and September. The State Rally and September Mini Rallies are both held at the Mineola Civic Center in Mineola, Texas. The March Mini Rally is held at the Coushatte Recreation Ranch in Bellville, Texas. Information is available on our website.
