Good Sam Should Be More Than Just A Title, It Should be a State of Mind
Having a Good Sam number doesn’t make it so in your heart
You must be a friend and neighbor to really play the part.
What others do for you can certainly smooth out your ride,
But what you do for others in what makes you feel good inside.
Casual friendships for each of us may come and go,
But those long-lasting ones deep in our heart surely do die slow.
Count your good friends rejoice and be glad,
But most of us will live richer lives if new friends we can add.
If any of you have lost a friend over something serious, silly or rare,
Take time to mend the fences – you really don’t have friends to spare.
Making new friends at rallies is important to each of us,
But be sure and make them last forever by keeping in touch.
